The leadership theory that closely matches my leadership style is the transformational theory.  My leadership style is a concern for people and a concern for task.  I find myself being a motivator among my coworkers and always encouraging students to do their best.  I like to start different programs such as  an afterschool homework club, where the children have an opportunity to do their homework since they don't do it at home.  This gives the student the opportunity to get the help needed as well as the support that will help them to succeed.

The power dynamic at my school site is the Board of Education. then the administrators, teachers, teacher assistants, and then students.  Although the Board of Education is not in the building they are always there because they have established the rules of the district.  The admnistrators govern the building and make sure that the rules are followed.  By knowing the dynamics of the building you are aware of who to approach to get situations solved.
